"Putting children at the center of their learning."

Happy New Year!
Our January newsletter is focused on Curiosity. Being curious, we asked some questions, such as...are kids able to follow their curiosity in school? Or do the demands of the curriculum and time mandates make curiosity a low priority on our educational totem pole? And why is curiosity important for student learning?
Many compelling children's book titles for exploring curiosity are shared in addition to questions for discussion and a quote to ponder. Of course, we're curious about your reaction to this newsletter. Please send us comments, questions, and ideas!
Here's to each of you following your curiosity about what makes your students tick and what interests you in the new year.
Happy reading,
